A LETTER TO OUR VENDORS

Dear Crafter/Artisan,

We wish to extend to you an invitation to register for the 37th Annual Atlantic Balloon Fiesta Indoor Market, September 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th of 2024.  The committee is already actively planning this event and we look forward to spending the weekend with you!

Registrations can be secured by post dated cheque with the date of August 1st 2024, with the registration fee of $200.00 per booth space (10’ X 10’).  PLEASE DO NOT SEND REGISTRATION FEE UNTIL YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN ACCEPTED BY OUR COMMITTEE. We are able to accept e-transfers this year in addition to Cheque and Money Order. Receipts will be issued at the onset of the event.  If you wish to share your booth with someone, please let us know. Cancellations made on or before July 31st, 2024 will be reviewed by the Balloon Fiesta Committee and a partial refund will be considered. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations after August 1st, 2024. 

Spaces will be reserved on a first come first reserved basis with prior pre-registered vendors given priority/preference for booth requests. Spaces are decreased in number this year to account for safe traffic flow. 

PLEASE NOTE: not everyone will get their same places as in previous years as we have new vendors with different structures but we will do our best to accommodate you.  All vendor spaces are located on the floor of the 8th Hussars Sports Centre and a diagram of the floor is available.

We have the authority to ask crafters/artisans and vendors to remove any non-acceptable crafts/products and/or ask them to leave the Indoor Market premises. Refunds may not be issued in this instance. 

We are a family-oriented event and prefer Maritime made crafts, creations and items that are suitable for viewing and purchase for all ages. Inquiries can be made in advance by contacting the Craft/Artisan Fair Indoor Market coordinator at abfindoormarket@gmail.com.  If vendors do not comply with this request, further action will be taken.

DATES/HOURS: September 6th, 2024, Friday             12:00pm – 9:00pm

September 7th, 2024, Saturday              9:00am – 9:00pm

September 8th, 2024, Sunday   9:00am – 5:00pm

Booths MUST be open for business each day before the doors open to the public.  You will be able to enter the building at 8am each morning.  Please wear your name tag for identification purposes.

SETTING UP: A: Set up arrival time: Thursday 10am-4pm,   Friday 8am-11:00am

B: Spaces will be marked and a crafters package will be made available at                                                                                                                                                                         registration. Registration will take place on the arena floor.

BOOTHS: A: Size 10’ X 10’

B: One (1) table and one (1) chair will be supplied per booth.  Please bring

    extra tables and chairs if needed.

C: 1 (one) Electrical outlet is supplied per booth.  

    Bring your own extension cords. 

UNLOADING: Vehicles will be permitted in the building on Thursday only.  You may park your vehicle at the rear or sides of the arena.  Vendor parking will be marked, and vendors must display their parking pass at all times. Parking passes will have vendor site identification on them. You may be required to park utility trailers in an alternate designated area. 

ACCOMODATIONS: You are responsible for your own accommodations.  Camping (along the fence line Perry Street at the entrance of the grounds) may be available but not guaranteed.  Please contact our office to prearrange. Camping power hookup is not available. 

ENTRY FEE: NEW IN 2024- etransfer available. Please remember to enclose your cheque or money order of $200.00 per booth space payable to ATLANTIC BALLOON FIESTA once your application has been accepted

BOOTH SITTERS:  You are required to arrange for your own booth sitter.
