Applications to attend the Atlantic International Balloon Fiesta September 11, 12, 13, 2009 are now being accepted. Vendors are responsible for payment of electrical hook-up and usage; payment given directly to the electrician on site during the weekend. This includes power used for motor homes, and any plugs on poles or the arena.

 

Rental: per 10'x10' space

 

Non-food vendors $200.00

Food vendors $250.00

   Electrical charges... per cord and current draw:

15 amp $25

230 amp $75

20 amp $40

240 amp $90

 

Vendors will be placed in the plan according to how many spaces they need to set-up, electricity requirements, and whether they are food or non-food concessions.

 

 

Operator Guidelines:

1. Concession may be moved in and set in place between 7am-6pm on Thursday, September 10, and 6am-9am on Friday, September 11.

    (Please respect our designated grounds Entrance and Exits.  Ample parking is available around the arena.)

2. Concession hours:

Friday 9am to 9pm;  Saturday 9am to 9pm; Sunday 10am to 6pm.

*Concessions may not tear down before 6pm on Sunday.

*The last balloon launch is Sunday at 6:00pm. 

*Please respect vendors around you as they may stay open to serve the after launch crowd.

3. Atlantic International Balloon Fiesta Committee will designate concession location on site.

4. Applicable concession fee must be received by June 30, 2009

(post-dated cheques must not be dated later than August 1, 2009).

If payment has not been received, the committee will assume that you are not coming.

5. Usage of bullying and/or profanity by concessions operators and/or their employees will not be tolerated. Any behaviour of this type will result in the dismissal of said concession, without refund, and without an invitation to return the following year. This rule will have "zero-tolerance". Our committee volunteers work an entire year to make the festival a success for you and for our visitors.

6. Proof of insurance for food vendors must be faxed to the fiesta office, 506-432-9446, as we require a paper copy on site. The Atlantic Balloon Fiesta insurance protection clearly excludes any liability for the sale of food, beverages, etc., on Balloon Fiesta grounds.
